1851 - By the hands of Elias Howe, the first ever version of the Zipper was born, namely; "the Automatic, Continuous Clothing Closure."
1925 - The word "Zipper" was originally a B.F. Goodrich trademark for overshoes with fasteners. B.F. Goodrich sued to protect its trademark but was allowed to retain proprietary rights only over Zipper Boots. Zipper itself had moved into the world of common nouns.
2003 - 152 Years later Ishai Halmut, studying at the Israeli Collage of Design, decided to follow a rather unconventional direction in his field of study. Thus, our Zipper bags story began.
2004 - A group of businessmen, thoroughly awed by the mix of creativity and simplicity behind Ishay’s endeavor decided to step in and spread Ishay’s inspiring ideas to the global markets.
